I am a senior scientist in Sensory & Cognitive Systems at MITRE, a non-profit federally funded research and development center near Washington, DC. My interests are primarily in vision and neuroscience and include binocular vision, artificial neural circuits, and bio-inspired sensing. I have also used computational and behavioral approaches to study 3D orientation perception, visual cue integration, and motor control.
I also co-founded the Society for Neuroscience Washington, DC Metro Area Chapter in 2012 and am currently the chapter president. Our monthly events focus on education, public outreach, and networking/social events. If you're a neuroscientist in the Washington, DC area and would like to join the chapter's mailing list, please sign up at http://groups.google.com/group/sfn-potomac/ or join our LinkedIn group.
